In a scene straight out of Home Alone: Salem Edition, pint-sized partners in crime Rachel Black and Thomas DiMera unleashed their homemade pumpkin cannon on unsuspecting citizens. Their mission? Humiliate Cat Green, public enemy number one in Rachel’s Kristen-fueled imagination.

Rachel (grinning): “Load it!”
Thomas (manic): “Fire!”

Within seconds, pumpkins flew like missiles, splattering across cobblestones and couture alike. The first projectile missed Cat by inches. The second? Not so lucky. The square erupted in chaos — shrieking kids, flying gourds, and a clown who dropped his cotton candy in slow-motion horror.

And then… came the real terror.

🧠🔪 THE MAD SCIENTIST STRIKES!

From the shadows of the pub emerged a nightmare in latex and lab coats — a mad scientist costume eerily identical to one worn years ago by Jeremy Horton. Fake bolts. Wild white wig. A gleaming knife.

But this wasn’t cosplay. It was a hit.

The masked figure moved with surgical precision toward Alex Kiriakis, who was blissfully scrolling his phone, pumpkin spice latte in hand. Just as the blade arced downward, fate intervened — or rather, a flying pumpkin.

Cat, fleeing for her life, stumbled directly into the attacker’s path.
Alex, in a rare act of heroism, hurled his latte and tackled her out of the way. The knife sliced empty air before the killer vanished into the alley, leaving only blood-spattered pumpkin guts and an abandoned blade.

🚔 THE AFTERMATH — JEREMY ACCUSED, SALEM ERUPTS

Within hours, Roman Brady had the scene locked down. Jeremy Horton, found in bed nursing a hangover, was dragged to the station as Salem’s prime suspect.

Jeremy: “Check my Ring cam, I was asleep!”
Roman: “Tell it to the pumpkins.”

The knife matched his old costume. The evidence was circumstantial but explosive. Salem had its scapegoat — and the whispers spread faster than gossip at the Brady Pub.

Meanwhile, Rachel and Thomas were caught red-handed. Their PVC piping traced straight to the DiMera mansion.
Kristen, heels clicking like gunfire, descended in fury.

“You could’ve killed someone!” she roared, dragging Rachel by the ear as Stefan loomed over a sobbing Thomas.

The demon duo’s reign of terror was officially over… for now.

💔 LOVE, LOSS & LITTLE TREY — THE HEART OF HALLOWEEN

While the square burned with chaos, another scene unfolded across town — quieter, but no less devastating.

At the DiMera mansion, Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree sat before Belle Brady, adoption papers trembling in their hands. Across from them, Javi and Leo Stark cradled the baby they’d fought so hard for.

Belle: “It’s official. Johnny and Chanel, you’re Trey’s legal parents.”

Tears flowed freely. The couple renamed the baby Trey Roman DiMera, honoring John Black’s legacy and the family that shaped them.

Johnny: “From this day forward, you’re one of us.”
Leo (choking up): “He’s everything.”

Javi pressed a final kiss to Trey’s forehead. Leo, uncharacteristically speechless, handed the baby to Chanel. The room dissolved into tears as the torch of parenthood passed from heartbreak to hope.

🥃 AARON’S SILENT GOODBYE — “THE RIGHT THING STILL HURTS”

At the Kiriakis mansion, Aaron stared at the adoption papers he’d just signed away. His glass of scotch sat untouched. Then, in came Bonnie Lockhart, uninvited but strangely perfect.

Bonnie: “Hey, sugar… thought you could use some company.”

For hours, they talked — about loss, about doing the right thing even when it destroys you. When Bonnie left, Aaron’s glass was empty, but his heart had found a fragile calm.
