I’M SORRY, VICTORIA! “YOU’RE NOT MY DAUGHTER! Holden’s Dark Secret Leads to Victoria’s TRAGIC DEATH!
Hello everyone and welcome to my YinR CBS update 24 channel. You are not my daughter. Holden kills Victoria to keep the secret for Clare Wr.
The night hung heavy over Newman Ranch. The air was tense with an eerie silence that seemed to echo the secrets no one dared to speak aloud. A storm brewed both outside and within the hearts of those gathered — Victoria Newman, her newfound daughter Clare Grace, and the man who had become an unlikely confidant and protector, Holden Barrett.
But by sunrise, blood would stain the marble floors of the Newman estate, and one haunting phrase would change everything. You are not my daughter.
Victoria paced the study, clutching the edge of the desk as she reread the DNA report. Her heart pounded in disbelief. The papers trembled in her hands, but there was no mistake — Clare Grace was not her biological daughter.
She whispered the words like poison escaping her lips. “You’re not my daughter. Oh my god, you’re not my daughter.”
The door creaked open behind her. Clare entered quietly, her blue eyes wide with nervous anticipation.
“Mom,” she said softly. “You wanted to see me?”
Victoria spun around, eyes blazing. “Don’t you dare call me that.”
Clare froze. The warmth drained from her face. “What? What are you talking about?”
Victoria slammed the report onto the desk, her voice rising. “This! This is what I’m talking about. The DNA test. Another one. I had it redone because something didn’t sit right. And guess what, Clare? You’re not mine.”
Clare’s hand shook as she reached for the papers. “That can’t be true. You saw the first test.”
“It was a lie,” Victoria snapped, tears filling her eyes. “A lie orchestrated by someone, and I think I know who.”
Just then, the study doors burst open. Holden Barrett, tall and tense, stepped in. His normally calm demeanor was gone. He looked like a man ready to fight.
“Victoria, stop this,” Holden said firmly. “You don’t understand what’s happening.”
Victoria turned her fury on him. “Oh, I understand perfectly. You and Clare — this whole time you’ve been hiding something from me. Tell me the truth, Holden. Who is she really?”
Holden’s jaw clenched. “It’s complicated.”
“Then simplify it!” she shouted. “Who is Clare?”
Holden’s silence said more than words ever could. Victoria’s tears turned cold. She whispered, “You’ve been lying to me since the day you came to Genoa City.”
Clare tried to step forward. “Please, let me explain—”
“Explain?” Victoria cried. “Explain how you let me believe you were my daughter? How you let me grieve for decades thinking my child was dead while you smiled in my face?”
Holden grabbed Victoria’s arm, his voice low and desperate. “Victoria, this isn’t what you think. If you expose this, you’ll destroy more than you realize.”
Victoria yanked free. “What could be worse than this?”
Holden looked at Clare, his eyes full of guilt. “Tell her,” he said quietly.
Clare’s lips trembled. “I can’t.”
Victoria stared between them, realization dawning. “Oh my god, Holden — what are you to her?”
Holden took a deep breath, his voice raw. “I’m her father.”
Victoria gasped, staggering backward. The world seemed to tilt. “Her father? That’s impossible. She said her parents were dead.”
Holden nodded grimly. “Her mother was. But I’ve been trying to protect her… from you.”
“From me?” Victoria whispered. “Why?”
Holden’s voice cracked. “Because Clare isn’t the only one who’s not who she says she is. The real Clare Newman — your biological daughter — died years ago. This Clare… she was part of the plan to help you heal, to make you whole again.”
Victoria’s eyes filled with disbelief. “You replaced my child with an impostor?”
Holden stepped closer. “It was never supposed to go this far. She needed a family and you needed closure. It was wrong, but I did it for love.”
“Love?” Victoria spat. “You call this love? You call this sick manipulation love?”
Clare collapsed into tears. “Victoria, I swear I didn’t want to hurt you. Holden made me promise. He said you couldn’t handle losing your daughter again.”
Victoria’s face hardened. “You’re both monsters.”
Holden reached out, but Victoria shoved him away. “Get out, both of you! I’ll go to the police. You’ll pay for this.”
Holden’s face turned pale. “Victoria, don’t.”
“I’ll tell Victor,” she said, trembling but resolute. “My father will destroy you both.”
Holden’s composure shattered. “You don’t understand what you’re inviting. There are people involved in this who won’t let the truth come out. If you talk, it won’t just ruin lives — it will end them.”
Victoria shook her head. “I don’t care. The truth deserves to be known.”
As thunder rolled outside, the tension in the room snapped like a wire. Clare clung to Holden’s arm, sobbing. “Please, Dad, stop her. She’ll tell everyone.”
Holden turned toward Victoria, his eyes full of regret. “I’m sorry, Vic. I never wanted it to come to this.”
Victoria frowned. “Come to what?”
Holden reached for something behind his back. A flash of silver glinted in the storm’s lightning.
“Holden,” Victoria whispered. “What are you doing?”
He stepped closer, trembling. “If you tell Victor, if you tell anyone, it’s over for Clare. They’ll tear her apart. I can’t let that happen.”
Victoria’s voice softened. “You don’t have to do this. We can fix it.”
But it was too late. Holden’s mind was already lost in the guilt and fear consuming him.
“You’ll never understand,” he muttered. “Everything I’ve done was for her.”
The clock struck midnight. The wind howled through the cracks in the old mansion.
Victoria took one final step toward Holden. “Please,” she said, voice breaking. “Don’t make this mistake.”
Holden’s hand shook violently. The knife glinted again in the dim light. “I’m sorry,” he whispered. “You were never supposed to find out.”
And then it happened.
A scream tore through the night. Clare fell to her knees as Victoria collapsed in front of her, blood spreading fast across her blouse. Her hand reached toward Clare, trembling.
“You are not my daughter,” she gasped with her final breath.
Then — silence.
Clare’s sobs echoed through the room, shattering what remained of Holden’s sanity. He dropped the knife, staring at his trembling hands. “What have I done?”
Hours later, rain pounded the ranch as police sirens flashed outside. Holden sat motionless beside Victoria’s lifeless body. Clare stood near the window, her face pale as ash.
Detective Chance Chancellor stormed in, gun drawn. “Nobody move.”
He stopped cold at the sight. “Dear God.”
Clare turned to him, her voice empty. “It’s too late.”
Chance knelt beside Victoria’s body. “What happened here?”
Holden’s voice was barely a whisper. “She found out the truth. I didn’t mean to. It just happened.”
Chance looked up sharply. “You’re confessing to murder?”
Holden nodded numbly. “To protect my daughter.”
Chance cuffed him, his expression grim. “Protect her? You just destroyed her.”
As they led Holden away, Clare broke down completely, screaming. “Dad, please don’t leave me!”
Holden looked back one last time. His eyes met hers, filled with a haunting sadness. “I did it for you.”
News of Victoria’s death ripped through Genoa City like wildfire. At Newman Enterprises, Victor Newman stood in silent disbelief, staring at a framed photo of his daughter.
His voice, when it came, was cold and deadly. “Holden Barrett will pay for this with his life.”
Nikki sobbed quietly beside him. “Victor, please. We’ve lost enough. Don’t do this.”
But Victor’s eyes were steel. “He murdered my daughter. I won’t rest until he’s buried.”
Meanwhile, Clare was left shattered, alone, and despised. Every doorway she walked through was filled with whispers. Every glance reminded her she wasn’t a Newman — not by blood or by heart.
Nate, one of the few who still showed her kindness, found her sitting by the memorial fountain. “Clare, you need to leave town,” he said gently. “Victor’s already put the word out. He blames you as much as Holden.”
Clare shook her head, tears falling. “I can’t run. Not after everything he did for me. I have to make this right.”
Days later, Clare snuck into the Newman Ranch one last time. She placed a single white rose beside Victoria’s portrait and whispered, “I’m so sorry.”
Behind her, a familiar voice spoke from the shadows. “Sorry won’t bring her back.”
Clare turned. Nick Newman stood there, rage burning in his eyes.
“You lied to all of us. You let her believe you were her daughter.”
Clare swallowed hard. “I didn’t want to, but Holden—”
“Holden’s in jail,” Nick snapped. “And if Victor gets his way, he won’t live to see trial.”
Clare’s voice broke. “Then let me take the blame. I deserve it.”
Nick studied her for a long moment. Finally, his tone softened just slightly. “You’re not evil, Clare — just broken. But stay away from this family forever.”
In his jail cell, Holden stared at the wall, haunted by the image of Victoria’s eyes in her final moments. Clare visited him one last time.
“Dad,” she whispered through the glass. “I don’t know how to live with this.”
Holden smiled weakly. “You live by telling the truth. Don’t run from it anymore.”
Tears streamed down her face. “They’ll never forgive me.”
Holden’s voice was soft, almost peaceful. “Then don’t ask for forgiveness. Just be better than I was.”
He placed his hand on the glass, and she mirrored the gesture. “I love you, Clare. You’ll always be my daughter.”
Weeks later, Genoa City began to move on, but something darker lingered.
At Victoria’s grave, a mysterious figure placed a single red rose. A folded note lay beneath it, reading: The truth isn’t buried. It’s waiting.
The camera panned up to reveal Cole Howard standing at a distance, watching the scene unfold. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes burned with vengeance.
“This isn’t over,” he whispered. “Not even close.”
