‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Is Planning Revenge On Brennan

Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) appears to be the true villain in the WSB story. Right now, Carly is focused on her and Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) revenge plot against Jack, but she may soon discover that Brennan isn’t the enemy.

Carly is furious that Jack recruited her daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), into the WSB. Brennan has been lying to her, and she plans to bring him down. Yet, it may not be too long before Carly starts to wonder if she’s made a mistake.

It seems like the GH writers may be on the verge of a redemption story, since Cullum has arrived in town. He seems like the real baddie in this situation. Meanwhile, Jack is extremely careful about how much he shares with the Director about his assets.

There may be major trouble brewing for Carly’s daughter if she learns too much about Cullum’s work with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project. After all, she is a WSB agent.

It’s only natural that Joss wants to find out more about what’s going down on Spoon Island. Plus, she agreed to help Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) gather intel to help get Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) out of the mess she’s in.

Not to mention, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) is living at Wyndemere with his boyfriend, Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo). Joss and Carly are both worried about Lucas being near Sidwell.

Joss may do some sleuthing and uncover secrets about Faison’s cold fusion project. If she gets too close to the truth, Cullum may see her as a threat and want to eliminate her.

‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Jack Didn’t Get Close to Carly to Recruit Josslyn

We can imagine a scenario in which Joss is in grave danger from Cullum, and Jack risks his own life to save her. Brennan is fully aware that Carly has already buried a child.

No matter what Jack has done, he cares deeply for Carly and would do anything to protect her. He would undoubtedly protect Joss and spare Carly the pain of losing another kid.

If that happens, Carly may realize that Jack isn’t the monster she believed him to be. Let’s be honest: Joss is an adult capable of making her own choices.

She chose to join the WSB because she wanted to take down “the bad guys.” Brennan had obviously seen Josslyn’s desire for justice and thought she would make a good agent. It’s as simple as that.

We don’t think that Jack specifically targeted Carly for a romantic relationship because of her daughter. It’s more likely that he fell for Carly first and then recognized something in Joss that he could use for the spy organization, not the other way around.

In any event, we’ve seen some good in Jack, and we know that he loves Carly. Brennan is a character with shades of gray but isn’t entirely dark.

It would take a lot for Carly to trust Jack again, but if he ends up rescuing Joss from harm, she may fall back in love with him and call off her scheme with Valentin.
