  Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was floored after hearing Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) and Kai’s (Jens Austin Astrup) story. They were at Drew’s house the night of the shooting, and they told Alexis why they knew Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) shot Drew (Cameron Mathison). It all had to do with Wiley’s (Viron Weaver) ringtone. Martin (Michael E. Knight) told Drew that the Quartermaines had filed a court order requiring him to return the property he stole from them, as Tracy (Jane Elliot) was set to move back home from Lulu’s (Alexa Havins) place.

  Molly (Kristen Vaganos) confided in Kristina (Kate Mansi) that she had spent New Year’s Eve with Cody (Josh Kelly) and felt she had ruined things when she abruptly told James she wasn’t Cody’s girlfriend. Michael (Rory Gibson) and Jacinda (Paige Herschell) grew closer. Nina (Cynthia Watros) was frustrated with Willow, who refused to distance herself from Drew, even as the trial was about to end. Ned (Wally Kurth) finally told his family that Drew had walked away from him when he had his heart attack. When Drew came over to confront the Quartermaines about the stolen property, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) trained a gun on him.

Meanwhile, Marco (Adrian Anchondo) threatened Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and warned her that she may have to move to Spoon Island to continue her lab work. She wasn’t happy. Ava (Maura West) had a shocking encounter when she visited Sidwell at Wyndemere. She ran into Valentin. As for Carly (Laura Wright),

  Valentin wanted her to canvass Jack’s apartment for anything that would incriminate him. She did find some documents, but then Jack (Chris McKenna) and Britt arrived at his hotel room. Anna (Finola Hughes) tried to overpower Pascal (Marc Forget). Alexis consulted Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) about her case. Diane was her sounding board as she relayed the facts that led her to realize that Willow shot Drew. Later, she gave her closing argument in court. She did make one slip-up, however. Did she do it on purpose?

  Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Jason (Steve Burton) compared notes. She wanted to know if Jason was upset with her because she had and continues to have compassion for Willow. By doing so, some people could think that meant she was anti-Michael. Jason understood. Sonny (Maurice Benard) wanted answers from Alexis. He wanted to know why she threw Michael under the bus on the witness stand. At the same time, he also expressed compassion for Willow. He just didn’t want Michael hurt in the process.

  Valentin had a close call with Ava, who then told Sidwell about Valentin’s visit. Carly overheard Jack and Britt’s heated conversation about their deal, which was supposed to result in her passing off her lab intel to Brennan. Plus, the fact that Sidwell wanted her to finish her lab work on Spoon Island. Brad (Parry Shen) asked Jason to stay away from Britt. Instead, he asked her out on a date. Anna’s attempt to overpower Pascal was thwarted, and we were introduced to Sidwell’s boss in this secret operation — Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes), director of the WSB, who showed up at Brennan’s hotel room door. He claimed Anna had disappeared.

  Jason and Britt went out on a date. Instead of dinner and a movie, they went to that place where people throw axes. However, Carly and Joss (Eden McCoy) were there at the same time. Carly expressed to Jason how much she didn’t like him and Britt together while Britt and Joss talked. Gio (Giovanni Mazza) showed up at Emma’s, where she was clad in a bikini because of a heating issue.

  Sparks flew, and the two made love for the very first time. Later, Emma (Braedyn Bruner) told Gio how much she missed her grandmother. She hadn’t seen her in months. Tracy admonished Chase (Josh Swickard). She basically accused him of cheating on Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Brook Lynn defended Chase, but when they were alone, she admitted her grandmother had a point. Laura (Genie Francis) brokered peace between Tracy and Martin.

  Nina (Cynthia Watros) warned Drew about what would happen if the jury in Willow’s trial returned a guilty verdict. Alexis reconnected with Trina and Kai, who wanted to know why she had said nothing about Willow being guilty. She had to explain to them how being a defense attorney worked. Chase and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) discussed Internal Affairs and their respective biases.

  Cullum and crew drugged Anna, and she hallucinated that her caregiver was Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), even though the real Liesl was at the hospital telling Britta to continue to cultivate a relationship with Rocco (Finn Carr). Michael and Willow met up to discuss visitation with the kids should a jury convict Willow. However, they were called to the courthouse to find out Willow’s fate. The jury foreperson revealed that Willow was not guilty.
