The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Comings And Goings 2026: Exits, Returns, New Arrivals, Recasts
Why are spoilers full? Welcome back.. Today is a beautiful, albeit totally chaotic day, and we are literally vibrating with the most insane updates. Grab your iced coffees and strap in because we have so much to cover and our minds are racing. You guys, I am deceased. Stop what you are doing right now. We are literally filming this while running errands because we just had to jump on here and vent. Our souls have actually left our bodies. Wait, we need to talk about this now because the casting news coming out of Genoa City for 2026 is straight up breaking my brain into a million tiny little pieces. I am literally shaking. We are not just watching the show anymore. We are invested. We are spiraling. And I am personally offended by the sheer audacity of these producers playing with our emotions like this. Okay, wait. Buck for a second. I missed a step. Let’s start with the absolute biggest bombshell that made me legit drop my keys in a parking lot. Jess Walton is temporarily stepping back as Jill Abbott due to scheduling conflicts. And do you know who they brought in to replace her starting June 25th, Lauren Koslo? Yes, besties. Kate Roberts Brady from Days of Our Lives is crossing over to step into the iconic shoes of Jill Abbott. And I am genuinely hyperventilating right now. I mean, bestie be for real right now. Jess Walton is Jill Abbott. She has been serving us relentless corporate espionage and toxic boy mom energy since 1987. But if anyone is going to temporarily hold that terrifying, judgmental matriarch energy, it is Lauren Koslo. Can you even imagine the aesthetics, the streaks in the hair, the withering glares? It’s giving major I cannot even energy and we are spilling all the tea right now. Jill is basically the reason Sally Spectra is currently in a living nightmare. Jill and Billy doubting Sally’s pregnancy is what sent Sally fleeing into that blinding rainstorm, crashing her car, and tragically losing her baby. Honestly, Jill is officially on my do not perceive list for that. I am so done. But bringing in Kaslo to navigate the horrific fallout of Billy’s regret. I am calling it the villain arc is about to go nuclear, manifesting a total dumpster fire by the next update because Billy is going to be destroyed and temporary Jill is going to have to pick up the pieces while serving absolute looks. Did I say that yet? O my brain is mush. Moving on. Wait, hold on. I should have mentioned this earlier, but we also have a massive sor situation on our hands. Dominic Winter’s chancellor has been recast. Ethan Ray Clark took over the role back on January 23rd, replacing the wear twins, Rain and River, who have been our little Dom since 2021. He is growing up so fast, and honestly, the timing could not be more insane because the custody trauma is literally peaking right now. I was mid-skare and smeared charcoal mask all over the rug when I realized how heavy this kid’s storyline is getting. Devon and Mariah are currently having these deeply emotional, gut-wrenching conversations about forgiveness because Mariah literally kidnapped Dominic during her mental health crisis. Devon is straight up terrified for his son’s safety. And Abby is furious at Devon for making legal moves behind her back to keep Mariah in a facility. Having a slightly older Dominic running around while his parents and surrogate are locked in this psychological warfare. Send help. My soul has actually left my body. The stakes are astronomical. Oh my gosh. Wait, I’m glitching. Okay, back to the main event. We need to scream about the shocking returns because the week of April 6th to 10th gave us the absolute cinematic mayhem of Sheammore returning as Malcolm Winters and Viva A. Fox returning as doctor Stephanie Simmons. I literally had to yeet my phone across the room when Sheimar walked on screen. He is the blueprint. Genuinely the most gorgeous man to ever grace Genoa City. But the story line pure emotional devastation. Malcolm is dying of a plastic anemia. Desperately searching for a bone mirror match. He flew to California tested Lily’s twins Charlie and Maddie and they weren’t a match. Sheamar was only back for like a week before leaving our screens again, leaving us completely unwell. But Vivica Eox mother is still here. Stephanie is hanging around connecting with Nate Hastings over his mom Olivia Winters and casually dropping medical context to Cain Ashb, which is honestly so unhinged because Kane is now using that info to blackmail Lily. Speaking of Lily, Crystal Call made her triumphant return from maternity leave on March 26th. The queen has returned to her throne at Chancellor Winters, but she walked straight into a literal nightmare. Cain Ashb, her toxic ex-husband, who genuinely needs to be permanently banned from the city limits, finds out he is the only bone mirror match for Malcolm. And what does this absolute menace do? He tells Lily he will only save her uncle’s life if she hands over control of Chancellor Winters to him. They are officially on my do not perceive list. I am so done with Kane. Lily is devastated, helpless, and backed into a corner. And Crystal is acting the absolute house down. I am physically vibrating from the sheer audacity of Cain leveraging a dying man’s life for corporate power. It is a messy, unfiltered, emotional train wreck, and I am totally living for it. Wait, hold on. Did you guys hear that weird humming noise in the background of the GCAC sets lately? Like a broken mini fridge or something? It’s genuinely distracting my spirit and throwing off the whole vibe. Anyway, snapping back to the main tea, let’s talk about the absolute terror that is Matt Clark. Roger Hullworth returned to the screen on April 1st, and I am literally hyperventilating just thinking about it. Matt Clark is the most unhinged, dangerous villain this show has seen in years. He is currently faking amnesia after getting arrested following a violently bloody fist fight with Noah Newman. Noah literally punched him in the face, which was so satisfying. But Matt is playing for D chess. He lured Nick Newman to a run-down gas station in Vegas, poisoned his drugs, and watched Nick collapse. Nick then drove his car off a cliff in a fentinel fueled haze and might have permanent brain damage. Victor Newman is currently pacing the hospital waiting room while Nikki screams in pure agony. The psychological warfare Matt is inflicting on the Newman family is an absolute masterpiece of mayhem. And don’t even get me started on the vibes in Las Vegas because Tina Costani brought Reza Thompson back on March 23rd. Reza is deeply tied to Adam Newman’s dark spider persona and she has been helping Adam navigate the Vegas underground to find Matt Clark. But besties Adam and Reza got way too close and they kissed. And who shows up at their hotel room door, Chelsea Lawson. Chelsea flew all the way to Vegas because she was worried about Adam, only to walk into this absolute mess. Chelsea is already spiraling because she is the only one questioning Victor’s completely unethical AA evidence attack on Phyllis Summers. And now her romantic life is imploding. The Chadam relationship is hanging by a thread and Reza is just standing there with her smug little smile. I am screaming into a pillow right now. This betrayal personally attacked my soul. Adam is basically reverting to his darkest self and I cannot even handle the gravity of these choices. But wait, we haven’t even touched on the most chaotic return of them all. Stacy Haiduk reprised her role as Patty Williams on March 6th. The last time we saw Patty a decade ago, she was severely mentally ill, surrounded by stuffed cats, and locked in a facility after poisoning Summer Newman. But now she is back, seemingly stable, but still harboring this dangerously toxic, unhealthy obsession with Jack Abbott. And Jack, who is currently in the middle of a massive divorce crisis because Diane caught him in bed with Patty on a boat and then caught him again with Nikki, is recklessly manipulating Patty. Jack is using Patty’s obsession to get her to help him destroy Victor Newman. But Patty is a wild card bestie. She acted as a guide for Matt Clark, thinking they were going to be this unstoppable villain duo. But Matt arrogantly rejected her and said he works alone. Do you know what Potty did? She snapped. Her abandonment issues flared up. She completely bypassed Jack’s manipulation and she directly called Victor Newman. She told Victor she has Matt Clark’s exact location and demanded to million dollars for the information. Victor is currently weighing this extortion demand against his desperate need to avenge Nick’s horrific car crash. Patty Williams is extorting the mustache himself. I am deceased. Genuinely, my grip on reality is slipping because the lore is so deep right now. Every single character is making the most chaotic and hinge decisions at 3:00 a.m. and I am totally extra, zero chill and purely human about it. This situation is now my entire personality and I am not okay. Manifesting that Victor pays the 2 million, Matt. Clark gets what’s coming to him and Patty takes the money and buys a private island for her cats. We are spilling all the tea and I will be back the second another glitch in the Matrix happens because Genoa City is officially a war zone.
