Johnny and Chanel Reach a Breaking Point Over Her Future
Chanel (Raven Bowens) didn’t like that her doctor was only focused on curing her of cancer, so she told Johnny (Carson Boatman) that she had no intention of following his treatment plan. She’d just let the cancer grow and see what happens.
Earlier, Johnny told Chanel he would go along with whatever she decided. Except for this. He does not want to go along with this.
EJ Sees Theo as the Next DiMera Power Player
EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) knows that his son’s mind isn’t on work these days, so he asks Theo (Tyler Joseph Andrews) to step up as Johnny’s right-hand man. Now that Theo knows Lexie (Nikki Campbell) is all for his becoming a DiMera mover and shaker, he’s more open to the possibility.
But what is EJ’s true agenda? Cat (AnnaLynne McCord) is sure she can control him. After all, they have that weird connection from their past book club. Rafe (Galen Gering) isn’t so sure. He sees EJ as a much bigger threat than Cat does. He warns her. She dismisses him. Someone is going to be very, very wrong.
Abe Searches for Answers About Life After Lexie’s Return
Abe (James Reynolds) accepted Paulina (Jackée Harry) moving out of his life so he can reunite with Lexie. Lexie is now living with him, though the situation is still awkward.
Abe isn’t sure how to behave, so he turns to someone who has lots of practice with spouses coming back from the dead — Marlena (Deidre Hall). She went through it with Roman (Josh Taylor), and she went through it with John (Drake Hogysten). She can give Abe some pointers.
The tension between Johnny and Chanel continues to escalate as neither one is willing to back down.
