After discovering signs of violence, they track down the location, where they find a bloody confrontation between Xander and Vivian. The police eventually find Philip still tied up, and as they close in on Xander, his fate grows uncertain.

The theory concludes with Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) being called in to operate on Xander, unaware that her estranged husband is the patient on the table.
