The Bold and the Beautiful Star Annika Noelle Marries Actor John Patrick Amedori in ‘Intimate Autumnal’ Wedding (Exclusive)
Annika Noelle and John Patrick Amedori are married!
The Bold and the Beautiful star and the actor, both 38, tied the knot in an “intimate autumnal” wedding at The Lodge at Malibou Lake in Agoura, Calif., on Sunday, Oct. 5, the night of the Hunter’s Moon. The couple tells PEOPLE that their inspiration for their special day was to combine their love for California with New England in the fall, leaning into a vibe of “dark whimsy and wildness.”
“We wanted it to feel like we were surrounded by nature, almost like the flower arrangements were growing from the ground and everything was lit either from the full moon or by candlelight,” Noelle says.
When they first visited The Lodge — which is surrounded by more than 5,000 acres of protected wilderness — they knew immediately that it was their “dream venue” and the perfect place to bring their vision to life.

“The history behind it, the flow from indoors to outdoors, surrounded by the Santa Monica Mountains reflected on the lake and breathtaking views — it was the obvious choice,” Amedori explains.
While Noelle jokes that planning the wedding sometimes had her “feeling like [the Muppet] Gonzo being shot out of a cannon,” she says the couple had help from “an amazing team who kept us grounded and laughing throughout” the process. That team included Jessica Gonzales of Amethyst Event Productions.
She and Amedori had two important priorities for their wedding: creating an unforgettable experience for their guests and having an unplugged event. “This weekend wasn’t so much about us, but creating a moment of escapism for our loved ones to feel enveloped by love, joy and celebration,” Noelle notes.

Without phones, “everyone could be present, enjoy each other’s company, and take it all in,” she adds.
The festivities kicked off on Saturday, Oct. 4, with a welcome party at Cornell Wine Co., complete with an open mic “where people could give speeches, play a song, recite poetry, whatever they wanted to share.”
“The stage was theirs,” says Noelle, who has played Hope Logan in Bold since 2018.

On Sunday, the bride and groom began their emotional wedding ceremony by acknowledging that they and their guests were gathered on the ancestral homelands of the Chumash people. “We paid our respects to their elders and connection to the land,” Amedori says.
The ceremony, which was officiated by the couple’s “dear friend” Mike Nicholas, also included personal readings, scripture and the recitation of handwritten vows. After exchanging custom wave- and celestial-themed rings with personalized engravings made by June Cream of Blue Blue Driver — Noelle and Amedori honored their heritage with a Celtic handfasting ceremony.

Noelle found her dream dress — Willowby by Watters’ “Persephone” design — at Lorien Bridal Boutique in Glendale, Calif.
“I had already fallen in love with the ‘Desert Rose Veil’ by Rue de Seine, and she [Lorien] helped me find a dress that would be complementary while not competing with the beautiful details of the veil,” the actress notes.

The bride walked down the aisle to an acoustic cello and guitar rendition of “Strange Magic” by Electric Light Orchestra, while her groom made his way to the altar as Daniel Johnston’s “True Love Will Find You in the End” played. After saying “I do,” the newlyweds exited together to “(They Long To Be) Close to You” by Carpenters, a nod to their shared love of the 1989 film Parenthood.
Noelle and Amedori made their entrance at their reception to “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys, and later shared their first dance to “Let It Be Me” by The Everly Brothers — with a surprise reference to A Knight’s Tale featuring “Golden Years” by David Bowie.
Following a cocktail hour, the newlyweds and their guests enjoyed a festive dinner, served family-style “to emphasize the feeling of community and camaraderie on the day.” The menu included butternut squash ravioli with browned butter, sage and Parmigiano, braised short ribs with red wine demi-glace and butter-poached cod with a shallot and leek cream sauce.

The couple also designed specialty cocktails for their celebration. Noelle, a former bartender, created Amedori’s Old Fashioned with Woodford Reserve bourbon, cranberry, spiced apple bitters, maple syrup, dark cherries and a smoked cinnamon stick.
For Noelle, chef Tiffany Sewell made a smoked pineapple margarita with Casamigos Reposado, grilled pineapple purée, habanero simple syrup and a dried pineapple slice with a Tajín rim.

An autumn-inspired dessert bar featured salted caramel brownie bites, apple cider doughnut holes, pumpkin cream cheese cupcakes and Eton mess verrines. Noelle and Amedori chose a three-tier vanilla wedding cake with fresh raspberries and Earl Grey buttercream by Sugar Studio.
In a whimsical touch, the cake was adorned with a topper, made by Laurie Valko, that featured custom figurines of the couple’s dog, Huckleberry, and cat, Henry.

The couple closed out their wedding weekend with a brunch on Monday, Oct. 6. Then they were off to enjoy their honeymoon together. On the agenda? “Warm sandy beaches and cocktails with little straw hats,” Amedori says.
Noelle and Amedori — whose television and film credits include Dear White People, Three Women, Gossip Girl and Detained — first met at Luna Luna in Los Angeles. They got engaged in November 2024.

“He planned an entire day, full of activities that reflected the journey of our relationship thus far. From the experiences, to the food, to the music, it was incredibly thoughtful and personal to us,” Noelle previously told PEOPLE of the proposal.
They celebrated their engagement that night at a Douglas Roegiers concert, where the jazz and swing singer dedicated a song to the couple.
Reflecting on their wedding day, Amedori tells PEOPLE it was “more than a fairy tale.” As they jump into married life, the actor says he is looking forward to “courting [Noelle] forever,” while Noelle can’t wait to see “what we create together.”

Sharing what she loves most about Amedori, she says, “His gentle strength, resilience, and how creativity somehow flows out of every pore of his body.”
As for Amedori, he loves his wife’s “mind” and “how I’ll always know what’s on it, and the depths to which she cares about things.”
“I could wait in 1,000 DMV lines with her and enjoy every minute of it,” he adds.
