Anita Turns to Bill, Of All People, For Help — Plus, Leslie Begs Vernon For Relief
Thursday, March 26, 2026: Today on Beyond the Gates, Leslie tries playing nice, Anita gets two visitors, Naomi continues to lie, and Jacob suggests Grayson make a change.

The two women catch up, with Sharon saying she and Tracy flipped a coin to see who’d visit this time. Anita admits to wishing she’d gone on the tour, vowing that if she ever goes into remission, she’s reaching out to Devon to see about recording a new Articulette’s album incorporating Barbara’s voice. Their visit is interrupted by Bill, the person she’d summoned earlier. Her latest scare has led Anita to realize she needs to get her ducks in order. She wants to alter the living trust, and she does not want Vernon informed. Pulling out his computer, Bill asks how he can help.
Vernon Shuts Leslie Down
Peaches seems to be doing better thanks to the clinical trial. She joins Leslie and Eva for lunch at the club. Needless to say, Leslie can’t stop talking about how much she’s spent, be it on Peach’s care or the clinic. Eva tries painting a picture of her mom being a kinda, sorta changed woman, but Peaches is skeptical at best. Leslie buys them some caviar, and they all admit to not really caring for it. Seeing Vernon enter, Leslie excuses herself, and Eva tells Peaches her mom is about to backslide.
Leslie actually tries playing nice, asking Vernon to please let progress on her house move forward. He, however, refuses, pointing out that the noise has been having a negative impact on his ailing wife. Leslie says the stop-work order is costing her money, to which Vernon suggests she sell the property. Giving her wickedest smile, Leslie says he should know better than anyone that the harder they try to push her out of Fairmont Crest, the more determined she becomes to stay! Vernon accuses the viper of “making revenge into a design choice.”
Naomi Keeps Her Secret
Bill and Naomi catch up, with him glad she has Jacob and her worrying about her husband’s well being. He starts questioning his daughter about Jacob’s extended absence, but she’s saved by the bell… or rather, a group text saying Anita’s recovering and on her way home. She later goes to the hospital to vent to Ashley. Talk turns to the BRCA gene, and Ash again urges her friend to tell the family what’s really going on. Of course, Naomi refuses, saying it’s a rough time for the clan.
Elsewhere, Kat and Ted catch up, with him acknowledging he likes seeing her softer, less Eva-hating side. They each compliment one another and find their way back together, with him vowing to be more present in her life.
Is Grayson Being Honest?
Continuing to be the worst undercover cop ever, Jacob meets with Grayson in that brick alley so they can compare notes on the organization they’re out to bust. Grayson says unlike Jacob, he’s in this alone, and he has no intention of letting Ashley anywhere near the mess. Jacob suggests that Grayson should at least temporarily ditch Ashley in order to keep her safe. Jacob makes it clear that the only way they can get out of this is by unmasking the head of the blood ring, and Grayson insists he doesn’t know who that might be. Later, he ignores Jacob’s advice to cool things with Ashley, swinging by the hospital to offer her a sweet treat.
Meanwhile, Izaiah gets together at Orphey Gene’s with his much-discussed, previously-never-seen mom, Darlene. Having heard that her son is being pressured by Leslie, she asks if he really intends to marry someone he’s been dating for a hot minute. Mama clearly doesn’t think the apple falls far from the tree, making it clear she wants him to cut his losses and move on. Darlene admits she’s worried about Jacob and his undercover work, prompting him to suggest a way she can feel better. He calls Naomi and asks if his mom can use the burner phone to speak with Jacob.
