• She abruptly leaves, determined but scared of what she’ll find if she tests him.

🚨 Nick Drops a Nuclear Bomb on Victor

• Nick calls Victor with two massive reveals:

  1. Noah signed himself out of the hospital and is missing.

  2. Noah has been having an affair with Sienna Beall.

• Then comes the real bomb:

  • Matt Clark is alive, using the alias Mitch Beall.

  • Sienna is tied to him.

  • Matt is targeting the Newmans through Noah.

• Victor goes straight into war mode.

• Nick wants Michael Baldwin to investigate Detective Burroughs, who feels dirty and possibly connected to Matt.

😱 Sharon’s Terror vs Nick’s Resolve

• Sharon rushes to Nick in a panic, desperate for any word on Noah.

• Nick tells her the working theory: Matt has him.

• Sharon is horrified at Matt’s name even being spoken again.

  • It can manipulate data, markets, and reputations.

  • It should be shut down, not just fought over.

• Victor listens very carefully, mentally filing that away as potential future leverage.

🧠 Victor & Adam: Two Wars at Once

• Lily leaves. Adam arrives.

• Victor fills him in:

  • Matt Clark is back.

  • He’s been operating as Mitch Beall.

  • Noah is being used as leverage in a larger revenge plan.

• Victor orders Adam:

  “Find out everything you can – who’s backing Matt, who’s helping him, where he’s hiding.”

• Adam then drops his own intel:

  • Jill Abbott is the financial backbone of Abbott Communications.

  • If Jill pulls her funding, the entire venture collapses—especially if they hit it right at launch.

• Strategy:

  • Adam: torpedo Abbott Comms during rollout.

  • Victor: then take aim at Jabot while the Abbotts are scrambling.

🕳️ Noah’s Prison: Matt’s Endgame

• Deep under the Beall property, Noah wakes up tied in a hidden subterranean room.

• He overhears Sienna arguing with Matt:

  • She insists this wasn’t the plan.

  • She didn’t want Noah brought there.

• We learn:

  • “Mitch Beall” was just a mask.

  • Sienna was never truly free—more like an accessory/hostage to Matt’s cover.

  • She was trapped, but she still made choices… including Noah.

• Matt reveals:

  • This isn’t about Sharon anymore—it’s about Victor.

  • The room is filled with surveillance on Sharon, Nick, Victor, even Faith.

  • Noah wasn’t the target — Noah was the doorway.

• Noah realizes:

  • He’s bait.

  • Matt wants the Newmans to come for him… so he can spring something far worse.

🍷 Phyllis & Cane: Sex, Secrets & Surveillance

• At the GCAC, Phyllis and Cane give in to their chemistry:

  • Clothes flying, bed, heat, zero long-term thinking.

• Afterward:

  • Cane orders a chocolate soufflé to keep it feeling casual and “normal.”

  • Phyllis goes to “freshen up” in the shower.

• While she’s “gone”:

  • Cane starts searching the room.

  • He finds her laptop and tries to guess the password – clearly after information, not just intimacy.

• What he doesn’t know:

  • Phyllis has already turned off the water.

  • She’s standing just out of sight, watching him try to get into her computer.

• She doesn’t confront him.
  She just files the truth away: he has his own agenda – which actually makes him more usable to her.

💔 Lily Walks In On the Worst Possible Sight

• Downstairs, Lily arrives at the GCAC lobby, feeling hopeful after her talk with Victor and the idea that Cane might actually change.

• Then she hears laughter from the staircase.

• She turns and sees:

  • Cane and Phyllis descending together, hands loosely intertwined, leaning close, glowing with “we just slept together” energy.

• Time stops:

  • Cane’s smile dies.

  • Phyllis subtly steels herself.

  • Lily’s expression says everything: hurt, exhaustion, and that deep “of course” kind of heartbreak.

• She doesn’t scream. She doesn’t make a scene.
  She just:

  • straightens

  • turns

  • and walks away.

• The question hanging over the final moment:

  In a town where people come back from literally death, is this the one line Cane can’t ever uncross with Lily?
