A bruised, half-drowned Luna washing ashore somewhere, furious, heartbroken, but alive… and with a new mission:

Either to disappear for good and rebuild a life where no one knows her name.
Or to come back one day, choosing the exact moment to resurface when it hurts Finn and Steffy the most.

Imagine months from now:

Finn hears a case about an anonymous Jane Doe with old scars that match Luna’s injuries.
Steffy gets a text from an unknown number: “You didn’t bury me as deep as you thought.”
Bill looks up in a boardroom and sees a woman at the door with Luna’s eyes and a new last name.

If the show wants maximum long-term drama, a missing-but-not-confirmed-dead Luna is a goldmine.

SO… WHAT’S MY TAKE? 💥

Do I think this is truly the end of Luna?

👉 No. Not yet.

The way she went out—no body, no aftermath shot, just roaring waves and horrified faces—feels less like a final curtain and more like a chapter break.

This “death” gives:

Finn a fresh layer of torment.
Steffy a new fear of what happens when enemies don’t stay buried.
Bill a reason to look over his shoulder.
And the show a wildcard it can cash in later when nobody sees it coming.

If Luna comes back, she won’t be the same girl who begged Finn to save her baby or stumbled into his protection.

She’ll be sharper.
Colder.
Or heartbreakingly broken in a way that forces everyone to reckon with what they did on that cliff.
