“NO DNA TEST?!” I’M PREGNANT!” Claire’s Secret Stuns Kyle – But Why No DNA Test?! | CBS Y&R Shock

Hello everyone and welcome to my YNR CBS Update 24 channel!

Kyle and chaos as Clare reveals pregnancy — no DNA test allowed.
The Young and the Restless.

It begins at Society, the upscale restaurant where power players often collide. Kyle sits at the bar, trying to focus on his laptop while drowning his anxiety in black coffee.

Summer Newman walks in holding a file folder. Their co-parenting discussions about Harrison have been civil lately, but today she seems uneasy.

“You’ve been distracted,” she says, sliding into the seat beside him. “Is everything okay?”

Kyle sighs, staring into his cup. “You ever get the feeling that just when life calms down, the rug gets ripped out from under you again?”

Summer smirks gently. “In Genoa City, that’s practically a guarantee.”

Before Kyle can respond, the restaurant door opens — and in walks Clare Grace. Her eyes dart between Kyle and Summer, and the tension instantly thickens.

Summer crosses her arms. “Well, this just got interesting.”

Clare’s voice trembles slightly. “Kyle, can we talk alone?”

Summer gives a mocking smile. “Sure, I’ll let you two talk.” She exits with deliberate slowness, making sure Clare feels the sting of her presence.

Kyle stands. “What is it, Clare? You said you needed space. Now you show up out of nowhere?”

Clare nods, visibly nervous. “I didn’t know how else to tell you this. I’ve been keeping something to myself. And it’s time you know.”

The bombshell.

Kyle’s tone softens. “What’s wrong?”

Clare looks him straight in the eye. “I’m pregnant.”

The words hang in the air like a thunderclap.

Kyle’s breath catches. “You’re what?”

“I’m pregnant, Kyle,” she repeats quietly. “And before you say anything — yes, it’s yours.”

Kyle’s heart pounds as he stumbles back into his chair. “Mine? Clare… we haven’t… I mean, that night—”

“It was the night after Holden’s arrest,” Clare says softly. “We both needed comfort. It just happened.”

Kyle runs a hand through his hair, stunned. “You’re telling me this now? Why didn’t you say something sooner?”

“I wasn’t sure,” she admits. “I didn’t want to tell you until I was certain. But now I am.”

Kyle stares at her, searching her face for any hint of deceit. “Okay, so we’ll get a DNA test. We’ll make sure.”

Her voice cuts him off sharply. “No. There will be no DNA test.

The refusal.

Kyle’s expression darkens. “What do you mean no test? Clare, this is serious. If you’re having my child, I need to know for sure.”

Tears glimmer in her eyes, but her voice stays steady. “You think I don’t know that? But I made a promise — to Victoria, to myself — that I wouldn’t allow this pregnancy to be turned into a circus. I know what people in this town are like, Kyle. They’ll question, manipulate, and twist everything. I won’t let that happen.”

He frowns. “This isn’t about the media, Clare. This is about me knowing the truth.”

Her gaze hardens. “The truth is I’m pregnant — and you’re the father. That’s all you need to know.”

Kyle shakes his head, frustration rising. “You can’t expect me to just take your word for it. Not after everything that’s happened — the lies, the secrets. I need proof.”

Clare looks crushed but defiant. “You don’t trust me.”

He sighs heavily. “Clare, you’ve given me every reason not to.”

Her voice cracks. “I know. But this time, I’m telling you the truth.”

Family Reactions

The news spreads like wildfire through Genoa City — thanks to a well-placed whisper from Audra Charles, who overheard part of Clare and Kyle’s tense conversation at Society.

By the next morning, the Newmans and Abbotts are both in uproar.

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria paces her office, furious. “She what?” she shouts into her phone. “She told Kyle Abbott without consulting me?”

Cole tries to calm her. “Victoria, she’s an adult. You can’t control every decision she makes.”

“She’s my daughter,” Victoria snaps. “And she’s carrying an Abbott child. You know what that means? Victor will go ballistic when he finds out.”

Meanwhile, at the Abbott mansion, Jack and Diane are having a very different kind of panic.

“She says she’s pregnant?” Diane asks, eyes wide.

Jack nods grimly. “And apparently, she’s refusing a DNA test — which means this could be another disaster waiting to happen.”

Diane’s protective instincts flare up. “I don’t trust her, Jack. She’s manipulated Kyle before. How do we even know this baby is his?”

Jack frowns. “We don’t. But if it is, then we need to handle this delicately.”

Diane isn’t convinced. “Delicately? She’s about to tie our family to the Newmans forever. You know Victor won’t stand for that.”

Jack’s expression darkens. “Then we’d better brace ourselves… because this war is just beginning.”

The Emotional Showdown

That evening, Kyle storms over to Victoria’s house.

Clare opens the door before he can even knock twice. “I told you not to come here,” she says quietly.

He pushes past her, his emotions boiling over. “You don’t get to control this, Clare. This isn’t just your decision.”

Victoria steps into the living room, her tone cold and authoritative. “Actually, Kyle, it is.”

He turns to face her. “Stay out of this, Victoria.”

She folds her arms. “I won’t. She’s my daughter, and she’s under my protection.”

Kyle scoffs. “Protection from what? The truth?”

Clare grabs his arm. “Stop. This isn’t helping.”

He softens for a moment, looking at her belly. “You’re really doing this? You’re really having this baby without letting me know for sure if it’s mine?”

She nods tearfully. “Yes. Because I can’t go through that again. I can’t let this baby be turned into another Newman–Abbott battleground.”

Kyle’s voice drops to a whisper. “And what about me, Clare? Don’t I deserve to know?”

“You do,” she whispers back. “But right now, I need peace. I need to do this my way.”

He stares at her for a long moment before turning toward the door. “Then I hope you’re ready to raise that child on your own — because until I see proof, I can’t be a part of this.”

The door slams behind him.

Clare bursts into tears as Victoria rushes to her side, holding her.

Victoria murmurs, “You did the right thing.”

But Clare’s eyes tell a different story. Then why does it feel so wrong?

The Spiral

In the days that follow, chaos reigns.

Social media buzzes with speculation after an anonymous post surfaces on GC Buzz, hinting that a Newman might be carrying an Abbott heir.

Victor Newman calls a family meeting. His voice booms across the room. “If Clare Grace is pregnant with Kyle Abbott’s child, we handle this quietly. No one embarrasses this family. Understood?”

Nick exchanges a worried glance with Nikki. “Dad, she’s not some corporate secret. She’s a woman about to have a baby.”

Victor grumbles. “She’s also a Newman, and I won’t have that Abbott boy dragging her name through the mud.”

At Jabot, Kyle throws himself into work, ignoring calls from both Diane and Jack. He’s haunted by Clare’s words, but anger drives him more than sorrow.

He mutters to himself, “If she won’t tell me the truth, I’ll find it myself.”

A Twist in the Shadows

A week later, Audra Charles pays Kyle a visit.

“I heard about your situation,” she says with a sly smile. “You must be going crazy.”

Kyle glares at her. “You have no idea.”

Audra leans closer. “Maybe I do. Because Holden left behind something before his arrest — something that proves Clare wasn’t as innocent as she claimed.”

Kyle’s eyes narrow. “What are you talking about?”

Audra slides a flash drive across the desk. “There’s footage from months ago. It shows Clare meeting someone — a doctor, a fertility specialist.”

Kyle’s heart skips a beat. “What?”

Audra smirks. “Maybe this pregnancy isn’t as straightforward as she says.”

The Ending — and the Beginning of War

That night, Kyle sits alone in the Abbott mansion, staring at the flash drive. His hand shakes as he plugs it into his laptop.

The footage loads — grainy, but clear enough. Clare walks into a clinic, signing a document under a fake name.

The date stamp sends a chill through him. It’s two weeks before their night together.

Kyle leans back, whispering to himself, “Oh my god… what did you do, Clare?”
