‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, August 18: Claire Tells Nikki She’s Going to Blow Audra Up; Cane Brushes off Lily Ultimatum and Calls his Children
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers here and we’re ready to kick off a new week with some fun spoilery goodies to share.
The episode for Monday, August 18 is going to be an interesting one as ultimatums will be challenged and war begins.
In a change of pace, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) is channeling her mother when she refused to forgive Victor Newman (Eric Braden).
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will point that out while trying to talk her down. The difference is, Claire wasn’t a pampered princess.
We expect she’ll still forgive Victor cause the writers say so, but first she wants to expose Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver).
Speaking of Audra, we have a feeling Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) already suspects something. Will anything Claire says surprise him?
Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will gamble his children’s love will lead them to eventually forgive him. It effectively shuts down Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)’s emotional blackmail.
She’ll leave in a huff and he’ll call their kids to talk.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, August 18: Claire’s ready to go on the attack
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have enjoyed Claire. She’s a breath of fresh air in many ways, and it’ll be fun to see her go on the offensive for once.
Nikki will try to do what she does and smooth things with Victor, but Claire won’t be having it. Not yet anyway.
When she does forgive him, we’d love it to be because Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) convinced her to. Gotta stick it to the Moustache a little.
While Claire’s ready to tell Nate everything about Audra, he’s going to have his own concerns.
Audra will be vague about her dealings with Victor, and we suspect he’ll do some digging of his own.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for Monday, August 18: Cane stand firm
Not only is Lily following Victor’s orders but she tried some of his emotional manipulation. It seemed simple enough. Cane would either tell her everything or she’d bury him with their kids.
We’re glad to see he’s smart enough to know she could be lying to him and doesn’t trust her. And with that, he’ll take away any leverage she has.
He’ll look to contact their kids to talk to them, but Lily could beat him to it after her attempt fails.
Having them mad at him will be a loss, but one he’s sure to overcome at some point. Unless Lily goes scorched earth and makes him the antichrist or something like that.
How will Nate respond to Claire’s news? Let us know in the comments below.
