‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Is Cane A Suitable Match For Phyllis? We Need A Hot New Power Couple In Genoa City
‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is long overdue for a new love interest.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis Wants To Reclaim Her Career
We think Phyllis and Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) would make a hot new power couple in Genoa City. Despite several warnings from her son, Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Grazadei), and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), Phyllis is prepared to go full speed ahead with Cane.

Cane’s grand plan is to somehow acquire all the major conglomerates in Genoa City. Newman Media, Chancellor, and Jabot may be in trouble.
We’re unsure whether Cane has his eye on Winters, considering that’s Lily Winters’s (Christel Khalil) family company.
Phyllis is desperate to reclaim her stake in the business world. When Phyllis wants something, there’s no stopping her, and in Phyllis’s mind, the idea of possibly being Victor Newman’s (Eric Braden) boss is irresistible to her.
Phyllis has a unique skillset as well as other desirable attributes, and we predict that their business alliance could lead them to the bedroom.

Cane and Phyllis have passed their on-screen chemistry test with flying colors, and they are being shipped by fans.
Cane may have his heart set on reuniting with his ex-wife, Lily, but as they say, she’s “just not into him,” at least not right now.
Lily wants nothing to do with Cane romantically. She is way too peeved at him for lying to her about being Aristotle Dumas and especially for Damain Kane’s (Jermaine Rivers) shocking murder in France.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Phyllis And Cane Have Passed The Chemistry Test With Flying Colors
Of course, Cane had nothing to do with the murder, but his loyal but psychotic assistant, Carter (Vincent Stalba), killed Lily’s new man because he was trying to get Cane and Lily back together.

However, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen anytime soon. Not only was Lily traumatized in Nice, but she also can’t stand the sight of Cane.
That said, it does appear that Phyllis and Cane have some chemistry. They are working closely together to take over the whole town, and sparks are bound to fly.
Phyllis may also see Cane as her ticket to reclaiming her career. Phyllis is aligning herself with Cane and assures him that she’s willing to betray Nick and help Cane steal his business.
Cane is confident that he can take over these companies. He’s convinced Phyllis that if she joins him, they can achieve this goal.
He’s presented himself to Phyllis as someone who values her opinion and has faith in her abilities as a businesswoman.

Cane is also easy on the eyes, which any sighted red-blooded woman could see. It wouldn’t surprise us if she took advantage of her close proximity to Cane and made a move on him.
The soap has given off countless hints that these two may soon find themselves in a romantic entanglement. It’s not hard to imagine two could really sizzle together.
Cane may still pine for Lily and feel that she’s his endgame. However, there is no harm in his having some fun with Phyllis before Lily is ready to reunite.
